Fun, Delicious, Fulfilling...

that's what Thanksgiving was for us!! Di & John started the day making our traditional homemade biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast! Talk about YUMMY!

In the early afternoon we visited John's family in Perth, NY for some cocktails and great hors d'oeuvres prepared by Theresa's friend, Maryann! Delicious to say the least!

Thank you to Theresa, Ron & Sean for their hospitality!!

When we returned to our home, the dinner was on!! We had Roasted Rock Cornish Hen, Baked Ham, Sweet Potato Crunch, Green Bean Casserole, Fresh Cranberry Sauce, Rosemary-Garlic Roasted Red Potatoes, Oyster Casserole,Homemade Braided Bread, and Salad! All incredible!!

The recipe we got from our friend Alice for the Chocolate Mocha Cheesecake turned out great! It's so rich! But we loved it!

Hope you had a yummy, fun Thanksgiving as well!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving... TDay in Ohio was wonderful as well... Early dinner at Aunt Diane's... 3 turkeys, Judy's fruit salad, Aunt Deb's cheesy potatos, Vince's puerto rican rice (he swears it's the only reason the Tansey's like him haha), Aunt Sharon's beautiful assortment of pies... and what a surprise to walk in and see Uncle Gerald carving the turkey! We prayed for happiness and health for those present and far away (YOU all!)... and ate, ate, ate... What a wonderful day...
